Business Administration Apprentice Adam Clark has furthered his pathway with the club

The current Apprentice Ambassador, who is also a Blues fan, has been appointed full-time as Business Development Assistant.

In his new role he will report to Business Development Manager, Chris Brewerton.

“Adam is an admired member of the team, and has forged some great relationships with both his peers and business clients associated with the club,” said Brewerton.

“He has supported various members of the commercial team and the wider club, taking a lead role in developing his every day skills within the commercial business environment.

“However with his full-time employment, Adam will be encouraged to build in those skills and assist myself in a new commercial venture called the Blues Network Business Club.”

Adam joined Blues in July 2016 after the club created a partnership with 3aaa Apprenticeships the previous year.

The partnership highlights the benefits of hiring an Apprentice at the club with Adam, then 17, being the first to benefit.

During his time as an Apprentice, Adam also received assistance and mentoring from the 3aaa Apprenticeships’ Birmingham Academy.

“We believe that Adam is just the beginning,” added Brewerton.

“We are proud of Adam’s achievements so far and we’re delighted that he’s now a regular part of the commercial team.

“Adam is a success story that we hope will motivate others to join his path.

“The work 3aaa Apprenticeships do is second to none and I’m delighted we’ve been able to work with a company that helps find young people the career of their dreams.”
