2017/18 Season Recruitment Event at Birmingham City FC

Our biggest jobs fair of the year took place on Thursday 13 July with 235 people in attendance at our last jobs fair before the beginning of the 2017/18 season.

The Club are looking for Chefs, Hospitality and Kiosk staff, Kitchen Porters, Sales Assistants, Stadium Hawkers, Stewards, Family Zone Hosts and Volunteer Supporter Liaison Officers.

We offer the opportunity for our matchday staff to gain NVQs in a number of areas which will help support their long-term development and/or future employment prospects.

There was something for everyone with partners in attendance in order to speak about future job opportunities and advice. Below are details of the Partners that were present on the day.

Disability Resource Centre – The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) is one of the leading pan-disability organisations operating in Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands. The DRC’s mission is: To support disabled people to take control of their own lives and to actively seek out opportunities to achieve their full potential as individuals in mainstream society.

Youth Promise Plus – Youth Promise Plus offers job search, careers guidance, training & mentoring, free travel, bespoke support, and increased confidence to the under 30s living in Birmingham and Solihull.

Solihull College – Solihull College & University Centre offers an exciting range of school leaver, university level and adult courses as well as apprenticeships and bespoke employment training.

Princes Trust Team Programme – The team programme is laid out below and is open to young people 16 – 25, not in employment, education or training. Our Team programme is a 12 week course, designed to help uncover your hidden talents and improve your confidence, as well as gain a nationally recognised qualification.
