In the event that you are unable to use your ticket allocation, due to work commitments, it is permissible to “gift” these tickets to friends and family members. – change to which can also be used by family or friends.

Life Assurance / Death In Service
Employees of the Club are provided with death in service cover. At present, members of the scheme are entitled to cover worth two times their basic salary following completion of twelve month’s service.
Staff Retail Discount
All permanent employees are eligible to receive up to 20% off from The Blue’s Superstore on all merchandise upon production of your staff pass. (Excluding tickets)
An eye and eyesight test will be provided free of charge, on request, to employees who are “users” of display screen equipment (DSE). Where a DSE user, who experiences visual difficulties that could be caused by his/her DSE work, requests an eye and eyesight test, the Club will ensure that this is provided as soon possible after the request is made.
Where an eye and eyesight test shows that glasses are necessary to correct eye or vision defects for the purposes of DSE work, the Club will contribute towards the cost of glasses.
If you are using registered or approved childcare, you can choose to take part of your salary in Childcare Vouchers to pay for it which are tax and National Insurance (NI) free. This means you get extra value from your salary each month.
In order to help you make these savings, the Club has introduced a Childcare Voucher scheme in partnership with Edenred.
Dress Down Friday
We operate a dress-down policy on each working Friday at St. Andrew’s for all staff that are not customer facing.
Contributory Pension Scheme With Aegon
The Company operates a pension scheme in line with auto enrolment provisions or as laid down by the relevant legislation. You shall be entitled to join this scheme as well as having the option to opt out.
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your role within the Club, you are either entitled to non-contributory private health insurance or you are eligible to purchase private health insurance at a discounted rate from our chosen provider. Full details of the scheme will be issued to you separately when you are enrolled into this. Membership shall be in accordance with the Club’s relevant medical insurance providers. The details and stipulations of the level of your personal insurance cover are contained in documentation as provided directly to you separately and you should read this carefully.
The Club may operate a bonus scheme from time to time and may, at its discretion, consider you for a bonus further to any such scheme. The Club may issue guidance on what may be taken into account by the Club from time to time. You will have no contractual entitlement to participate in any bonus scheme and if you are considered for a bonus, that decision will be at the sole discretion of the Club.
Flexible Working Hours
Our casual worker contracts offer a choice to those who want flexibility in the hours they work, such as students, parents, carers and those with other jobs. The contracts are ideal for those who wish to accommodate their other commitments.
For those that do not have alternative roles or other commitments, there are always permanent opportunities becoming available. The Club has a policy of ‘growing our own’ and many of the current permanent workforce were appointed directly from our Casual workforce.
Additionally, those who wish to work more hours can always request this and if possible (depending on their role) work during the week and not just matchdays.
Training & Development

Reward & Recognition – Awards Evenings
Each department will hold an Awards Evening & Party whereby staff with outstanding feedback from either their line manager and/or guests or supporters will be awarded with certificates and prizes.
Anyone who finishes their shift BEFORE the start of the home game can purchase a match ticket to watch that game for £10.00 depending on match and availability. You must produce your ID card in order to be able to purchase a ticket. This is limited to the member of staff only.
All casual workers can also get 10% discount off any merchandise from the Blues Superstore (excluding tickets).
Discounted food is available for casual workers on matchdays.
The company reserves the right to terminate its participation in any or all the above schemes, or to substitute another scheme, or to alter the benefits available to you under, or the terms and conditions of, any scheme at any time. No liability will accrue to the company in the event insurance cover for you is refused by the provider or conditions or limitations to the benefit are applied by the provider. The company's sole obligations in respect of any of these insurances are to pay the premium from time-to-time required by the provider and to pay to you such sums (if any) as may from time-to-time be received from the provider in respect of any claim made by you under any scheme and for the avoidance of doubt the company shall be under no obligation to take any action to enforce the terms of any insurance or otherwise to procure the benefit of any insurance for you or your estate.
